chime in nowApplebee’s appetizers are called “shareable” for a reason -- one plate packs a lot of calories. But registered dietitian Kelly Roehle from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago recommends looking not only at calorie counts, but also fat grams when determining which is worse. The sliders not only have more calories per plate (1,240 vs. 730) but also a lot more saturated fat -- 25 grams versus 10. And they have more trans fat, which actually lowers your good cholesterol.
