Try serving this pie as a breakfast treat!
| 6 cup baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced | 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour | |
| 1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs | 1/4 teaspoon salt | |
| 3 tablespoons butter, melted | 1 teaspoon cinnamon | |
| 1/4 cup chopped pecans | 1 freshly grated, divided teaspoon nutmeg | |
| 1 9-inch prepared pie crust | 1 cup sour cream | |
| 1 cup raisins | 1/4 cup dark brown sugar | |
| 3/4 cup sugar |
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
To prepare filling, combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour, salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg.
Toss with the apple slices and raisins.
Place the apple mixture in the pie crust.
Loosely cover the pie with foil and place on a foil lined cookie sheet.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
Remove the foil and place on a rack.
To prepare the sour cream topping, beat the sour cream and brown sugar together until well mixed.
Pour evenly over the pie.
To prepare the crumb topping, mix the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, melted butter, and chopped pecans together and sprinkle on top of the pie.
Place the pie in the oven and bake for 5 minutes, or until the topping is lightly browned.
