The Apprentice Goes West and Other TV News

The next season of the Apprentice is going to take place in Los Angeles. I'm sure tasks will include selling fake boobs and setting up new tanning salon businesses. In related news, Mr. Trump, who doesn't drink and avoids people who do, is launching a vodka line. Both Peter and Greg Brady will be appearing on an upcoming episode of That 70s Show. That would be Barry Williams and Christopher Knight to those of you who know them by their real names. The show will air next year. Three more new shows have been canceled: Hot Properties (ABC), Threshold (CBS) and Reunion (Fox). It's okay -- you obviously weren't watching them anyway. The Biggest Loser was Matt Hoover, who dropped 157lbs. It's really nice that there's a reality show out there that's more than just bickering. They're actually bettering themselves and getting healthy. I think I'm going to tear up. According to TV Guide, Rob Lowe will return to the West Wing for one last episode. If the show ends in May, expect it to be the finale. "They asked if Rob would do the last show and wrap it up," said his spokesperson. "It would be like George Clooney coming back to ER one last time." Way to talk up your client, but they're not really in the same league. Who knew that former Lois & Clark costars Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain didn't like each other? Not me. Where have I been? When Dean was asked if he'd ever do a guest spot on Desperate Housewives to rekindle their old fire, he said: "I don't know. I can't even speculate. I don't watch that show. It's kind of a soap opera -- not really my cup of tea." Well, it gets much better ratings than Las Vegas, doesn't it?
