Dramatic camera angles were all the rage on last night's Apprentice -- was it just me or did they seem to throw in more gratuitous close-ups than usual? After the last boardroom, the final four of James, Stefani, Frank and Nicole return in disbelief that they've all made it this far. As they're discussing their amazement, Trump and Donald Jr. make a surprise visit to check in and tell them they indeed get a reward: a cocktail party at the Beverly Wilshire hotel with the group of previous Apprentices. They all seem very excited about this; I sort of think it's a lame reward (again). I like Shawn, Kendra and crew just as much as the next person, but the gushing was a bit much. At the party, they talk strategy and compare experiences with the former Apprentices. Then they are told that they are being split into two teams and each have 30 seconds to pick two former teammates to come back and help them in the next task. James and Stefani choose Aaron and Angela after much discussion. Nicole and Frank opt for a different strategy and select Tim (duh) and Surya. Say what? Yes, Surya will be returning to his rightful place by the whiteboard once again. Everyone seemed rightfully surprised by the choice, but Nicole and Frank both felt his organizational strength and tenacity would be an asset. At the moment they shared their choices, I think James felt as if he won right then. But there's still a whole lotta show left.
