Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron are 15 years apart and play enemies in their upcoming film, but a source tells the new Us Weekly that off camera the two actresses have bonded over their love of cooking and are inseparable on the set of Snow White and the Huntsman.
"They're both really reserved, but they've had a few dinners together," adds a source, noting that food seems to be their common bond. "They're serious cooks and like to compare notes."
Theron, 36, is "more of a foodie," so Stewart, 21, "looks up to her about that kind of stuff," adds a source.
Their friendship makes sense, considering they both started in the industry as young women, have had high-profile celebrity romances (although Theron split from actor Stuart Townsend, her boyfriend of nine years, in 2010) and are known for wanting to be considered serious actresses, not just gorgeous ones.
Stewart has openly gushed about working on the fairy-tale adventure.
"I've had the most indulgent experience on Snow White and the Huntsman so far," the actress told reporters last month.
Hopefully all of the camaraderie will translate into a movie that lives up to its fabulous trailer. Snow White and the Huntsman hits theaters June 1, 2012.
