Are 'Glee' Stars Lea Michele & Cory Monteith Hooking Up?

The actors play high school sweethearts on the show -- and now sources say they've taken their romance off camera

Glee fans, get ready to swoon! According to multiple sources, costars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith (who play onscreen couple Rachel and Finn) have transitioned their romance to real life.

After years of friendship and months of downplaying rumors of a brewing off-camera romance, Michele, 25, and Monteith, 29, are reportedly ready to go public with their relationship.

"They've been hooking up for awhile," an insider says of the actors, whose characters were about to marry in the Feb. 21 episode of Glee.

The weekend of the Oscars, Monteith whisked Michele away for a romantic weekend of sightseeing in his hometown of Vancover, Canada.

"They stayed in a hotel, toured Grouse Mountain and went for sushi and sake," a source says.

The weekend was a short getaway, however, because Monday morning the two were back on the Glee set.

"Hey everyone! Had such a relaxing weekend.. Now off to bed:) Got a super early morning tomorrow! Xo," Michele tweeted on Sunday night.

But Finnchel fans shouldn't start holding their breath for a real-life Glee wedding any time soon.

"It just sort of happened," a source tells Celebuzz. "No one is sure just yet how serious it is yet, but they both seem pretty happy."

Then again, Us Weekly's first insider adds: "It's starting to seem a little more serious."
