The Hills are alive with the sound of engagement rumors!
The New York Post is claiming that MTV reality darling-turned-fashion maven Lauren Conrad is getting hitched to her beau of more than two years, Kyle Howard. But, apparently, they're keeping the wedding news on the down-low.
"She is not wearing a ring because she wants to hold the secret back for her new MTV show," a source told the paper.
Conrad is set to star in yet another reality show for the network that focuses on her professional life and the launch of her new fashion line.
But a rep for the Laguna Beach babe is calling the engagement talk "totally false" and insists that Conrad and her My Boys boyfriend have no plans to walk down the aisle as of now.
