So, all of you who are doing the NeverSayDiet Community Challenge...how's it going? I've actually been doing my own assignments (like writing out my best characteristics and posting little self-affirmations on my bathroom mirror, in a diary by my bed, plus an "I am beautiful" tattoo I just had inked on a banner across my tush. Kidding.)
This week's challenge from Yours Truly:
Do a home media inventory: Take a hard look at the magazines, TV shows and Web sites you bring into life—anything that makes you feel badly about your body should go. Cancel that lingerie catalog or fashion mag subscription, or block a TV channel. Why taunt yourself with impossible-to-attain images? Create a positive environment in which you and your family can thrive!

If you're not doing the Challenge, maybe you have something to add to this thread I started - What made you happy today? Each night for the last week I've been taking a moment to write down three good things that happened to me during the day. It could be "I got my hair highlighted...finally!" or "Dan and I had a romantic dinner together" or "Obama got inaugurated!" Reflecting on the day before hitting the sack is calming and forces you to realize that, no matter how stressful your day may have been, happiness WAS there.
