The estranged couple, who separated in May before Shriver filed for divorce in July, spent Christmas with all four of their kids -- Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher -- at their Brentwood, Calif., home, a source close to the family tells People.
They "had a really nice time" together, the source says of the family reunion.
The holiday get-together isn't the first time the former governor and first lady of California put their differences aside for a special occasion. In July, Shriver, 56, spent Schwarzenegger's 64th birthday with him, just a few weeks after news of her divorce filing hit the news.
This time, the friendly exes even stepped out with one another. The family was among the many notable spectators at the Los Angeles Lakers' season opener game at the Staples Center on Christmas Day.
The Schwarzenegger family Christmas comes just as news reports have begun to circulate speculating that Shriver is considering not going through with the divorce, but it's not so unthinkable for the amicable couple to put their kids' needs above all else.
"Children and family come first" a source told People earlier this year, with another insider adding, "Arnold and Maria will always come together when it comes to supporting and loving their children."
