The Art of You and Me

Why we love it: Perfect for cohabitating couples, this play-on-words project is a stylish bedroom accent you’ll both say, “yes” to.

What you need: Canvas; newspaper; tracing paper; pencil; measuring tape; charcoal gray paint; tape; paintbrush; water bowl; and gold thumbtacks.

How to make it: Sketch the perimeter of the canvas onto the tracing paper. Draw “you”, “me”, “oui” onto the paper, stacking the words vertically and equidistant from one another. Center the tracing paper onto the canvas, and secure with tape. Outline the words with the gold thumbtacks, piercing through the canvas. Secure the paper down with tape. Lay out the newspaper, and paint the canvas. Let dry, and mount on the wall.
