Since when is Ashlee Simpson an actress?
Yes, she did have a role on 7th Heaven and she tried to make a movie (Undiscovered), but when I think of Ashlee I think of her reality show, and oh yeah, the fact that she's a singer!
Well it seems like Ashlee wants to try her hand at acting again, as she'll be moving in as the new neighbor on the CW's remake of Melrose Place. According to Entertainment Weekly, Ashlee will be playing a "small-town girl Violet, a character whose disarming naivete masks the calculating shrewd sex kitten within."
I'll admit, I can actually see Ash pulling that off. However, the real question is, how long do you think it'll take Pete Wentz to convince producers to cast him as a guest star?
