Ashley Hebert was extremely confident she found her Prince Charming in new fiance J.P. Rosenbaum -- but The Bachelorette's sister wasn't so sure. When Chrystie Corns met the construction manager from New York in Fiji, she was pretty vocal about her feelings that J.P. was not the right man for her sis. But, despite Corn's initial reaction, Ash followed her heart and she and J.P. became engaged on the show's finale.
So, what's Chrystie saying now?
"I made a big mistake," Corns told People.com, of hastily judging Rosenbaum. "As I started watching the season, however, it's very clear to me that J.P. was the one. He was the best choice."
Upon their meeting in May, Corns felt her sis wasn't being herself with J.P. and thought the duo lacked a connection.
"What I didn't take into consideration at that point was that she had been on this eight-week journey and she was really tired," says Corns, noting that Ashley is usually much more animated, especially around her family.
But she's now eating her words -- and has some groveling to do.
"I'm totally apologetic, I feel like a jerk – I want to make it up to him but he won't let me forget it," Corns laughed. "J.P. says if he has anything to do with it I'm going to have to fight for the right to be maid of honor."
Corns may feel silly now, after watching J.P. and Ashley's season-long courtship, but does she need to keep apologizing? The point of the family-meeting episode was for Ashley's family to tell her what they thought of her remaining suitors. We're sure Chrystie was just looking out for the best interest of her sister -- even if she was wrong.
