Hollywood has seen its fair share of cheaters this year, but Ashton Kutcher wants to make it very clear that he is not one of them. Star magazine published a story on its website Wednesday, claiming that the actor was seen stepping out on his wife of almost five years, Demi Moore -- and Kutcher is Tweeting mad!
"I think Star magazine calling me a 'cheater' qualifies as defamation of character. I hope my lawyer agrees," he posted on his Twitter account. He later added, "STAR magazine - you don't get to stand behind 'freedom of the press' when you are writing fiction."
Luckily, Kutcher's wife has complete faith in him. She stood by her man and retweeted his post. "Excellent point my love!" she added.
The magazine claimed that Kutcher was seen "groping a hot young blonde by an out-of-the-way bathroom at Italian restaurant Madeo in L.A."
"Ashton had this gorgeous girl pinned against the wall, and he was totally making out with her," a supposed eyewitness said. "I was shocked to see him sucking face with a girl who obviously wasn't Demi."
A "friend" of Kutcher and Moore, who have always seemed to ignore any hoopla about their 15-year age difference, says that if Kutcher was unfaithful, it would break Moore's heart.
"All along, Demi was told it would never work, that he’s going to cheat," the insider told Star. "When she finds out that it happened, she’ll be devastated." Clearly, Kutcher and Moore will be fighting those claims.
