After his separation from Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher is starting fresh... at least, in terms of his hair. The usually scruffy actor, 33, showed up at Tuesday's Televison Critics Association (TCA) panel for Two and a Half Men without his shoulder-length locks or facial hair. Why the new look?
"(It's) related to the show, completely," Kutcher, who plays slacker billionaire Walden Schmidt on the popular comedy, told reporters. "Tune in Monday."
Kutcher says he's not worried about his new look turning off fans (or ladies).
"I'm sure there will be people now that I've cut my hair and shaved my beard that want me to have long hair and a beard. And there were people that when I had a beard and long hair they wanted me to be shaved and have a haircut," said Kutcher, who was clean-shaven for his earlier TV role on That '70s Show. "How it evolved is that these guys wrote a screenplay that dictated that I cut my hair and shave my beard at some point."
Nothing like a multimillion-dollar TV contract to get a guy to clean up his act! But although Kutcher ditched the excess hair, there's one accessory he's still flaunting: his wedding ring! According to US Weekly, the actor wore his band to the TCA event, and even played around with it throughout the panel.
As for Moore, it's possible that she may have taken our advice to find a new younger man. The actress, 49, was spotted in L.A. this weekend with 26-year-old model and personal trainer Blake Corl-Baietti. According to his modeling profile, Corl-Baietti is a "renaissance" man who loves working hard, trying new experiences and competing in decathlons. And, although a source tells People that the pair aren't dating, he sure sounds like someone who might actually be able to keep up with Demi
