Who Is the Highest-Paid Actor on Television?

Ray Romano, Alec Baldwin and Ashton Kutcher all rake in some serious cash for their primetime shows -- but who earns the most?

Ashton Kutcher has a lot to be thankful for this year. Not only is he dating the sexiest woman alive and portraying one of the brightest minds of our generation in a new movie, he's also the highest paid actor on television.

Forbes has released its annual list of TV's highest paid actors, and the top spot remains with Two and a Half Men's leading man. Of course, the top-billed actor on the show has changed in the past year as CBS let Charlie Sheen go and replaced him with Kutcher. Sheen is no longer on the list, despite now starring in FX's Anger Management.

At least the money CBS is dishing out on their star has dipped a bit. Sheen topped Forbes' list last year with a $40 million salary, while Kutcher only made $24 million between May 2011 and May 2012. But don't feel sorry for him yet -- that's still a good $6 million more than the next two people on the list, House star Hugh Laurie and Parenthood's Ray Romano. Plus, it's $11 million more than Kutcher's Men costar Jon Cryer makes.

Following Laurie and Romano's $18 million paychecks, Alec Baldwin and Marc Hammon tie for third place on the list with $15 million a piece. Tim Allen came in fourth with $14 million, Cryer came in fifth with his $13 million and Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey came in sixth with $12 million. Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Jason Segel round out the list with $8 million a piece.
