Ashton Kutcher's next movie may have you blushing at the box-office window. That is, if the actor has his way. Kutcher, 32, just wrapped filming for director Ivan Reitman's latest comedy, and jokes that it may or may not have a really crass (if hilarious) title!
In the industry in recent months, the film (which also stars Natalie Portman and Kevin Kline) has been referred to as just "Untitled Ivan Reitman Project" and the more appropriate "Friends With Benefits," according to Popeater.com. But Kutcher's really taken a liking to the comedy's other title.
The actor says, in a new interview with Moviehole.com, "I just finished a film called The F*** Buddies, that may not ultimately be called F*** Buddies....I don't know why, I think people would love to go see a movie called The F*** Buddies."
Kutcher adds, "I think if I saw a poster and it said The F*** Buddies, I'd be like, 'I'm in, I'm going to see it.' I think it's going to be a really, really funny movie. I can't think about it without laughing. That should be the title! I'm shooting for that!"
Will Kutcher's title-change campaign be successful? There is a new TV show debuting in the fall based on the Twitter phenomenon S*** My Dad Says (granted, CBS is calling the new series Bleep My Dad Says in their ads), so an F-word movie title might not be so far-fetched.
