|Vegetable oil for the pan||2/3 cup panko bread crumbs|
|1 1/2 pounds ground turkey||2 tablespoons soy sauce|
|1/2 teaspoon hot chili sesame oil||1 teaspoon minced garlic|
|1 egg, lightly beaten||2 teaspoons minced ginger|
Lightly oil a rimmed baking sheet (these meatballs are quite soft, so better to bake than pan sauté them).
In a large bowl, using your hands, combine the turkey, chili sesame oil, egg, bread crumbs, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. Combine the mixture well, but try not to squeeze the mixture too much as you blend it. Make meatballs 1 ½ inches in size and place them on the baking sheet.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until cooked through.
