Oh, Aubrey! Do you think the "brilliant" Fidel Castro would be OK with dyeing a dog's hair?
O'Day caused waves for her comments last week where she praised the Cuban dictator and she's back in the news for dyeing the hair of her 1-year-old dog, Ginger.
Websites have criticized O'Day for dyeing her Maltese but the former singer of Danity Kane thinks she's doing the dog a favor.
"She likes to have looks," O'Day told Usmagazine.com. "It actually seems like such a taboo weird thing nowadays, but if you research online, you will see a whole underworld of dogs who are dyed."
I'm sure poor Ginger didn't ask Aubrey to give her "looks."
If Ginger wanted to get makeovers, O'Day wouldn't have to do it while the dog is sleep.
She claims it's "hassle-free; she doesn't even know [it's happening]."
"I do it like anyone would color hair," O'Day says. "She sits on my lap, and I have a brush, and I paint it on and use foils."
O'Day gives all pet parents a bad name. Dressing up Foo-Foo in outfits or even a Snuggie for Dogs is one thing, but dying your dog's hair for "different occasions" is crossing the line.
The only positive from this hobby of ODay is she's working on a natural dog dye to sell.
It might look ridiculous but luckily it won't be causing any harm to the dogs.
What do you think? Is dying your dog out of the question?
