The tradition of bathing for health began centuries ago, says Parry. "Baths not only make us smell good, they are an essential part of balancing one’s health. Soaking in natural ingredients can heal wounds, detox the body and soothe the nerves."

• 3 to 4 sprigs of rosemary (4 to 5 inches long each)
• 1 inch chunk of fresh ginger root, peeled
• 1 cinnamon stick

Place rosemary, ginger root and cinnamon stick into a pot and add 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. As soon as water boils, turn off the heat and let the herbs and spices "stew" for a minimum of 1 hour. Strain.

When ready, add your herb infusion into warm bath water. Inhale deeply to enjoy the natural fragrance of this mixture.
