This smooth, creamy soup is truly cool as a cucumber. It's the perfect dish to offset the heat of a spicy meal or just to chill out on a steamy day.

| 1 hothouse cucumber (not peeled), roughly chopped | 1/2 teaspoon sugar | |
| 1 avocado, peeled, pitted and roughly chopped | juice of one lime | |
| 1/2 cup plain yogurt (not Greek-style) | ground pepper to taste | |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt |
Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. Taste for seasoning and add more salt, pepper or lime juice if desired.
Chill for at least four hours before serving.
