Celebrity moms came out in full force Tuesday night to celebrate the new film Babies (hitting theaters on May 7), which documents the lives of four infants around the world during their first year of life. Some mamas -- like Saturday Night Live alum Ana Gasteyer -- even brought their little ones along to join in the fun!
With Mother's Day just around the corner, the stars were happy to share their best parenting advice and the biggest challenges of raising their own little ones.
"I knew it was going to be hard, I didn't realize how hard," Today show anchor Natalie Morales, who's the mom of two boys, told iVillage. "You always think it's going to be just love all the time -- and it is -- but there are a lot of little battles. Whether it's your child throwing a tantrum or your child telling you they hate you. It's a love like no other, and it's a heartbreak like no other."
Gasteyer -- who joins the old SNL gang for this Saturday's Mother's Day reunion show hosted by Betty White -- walked the red carpet with her 7-year-old daughter Frances and shared her best new mom tip. "I really can't tell you how important it is to take the time after the baby is born to be home with your child," she said. "Don't feel like you have to jump up and lose weight and go out and do things." Sounds like sage advice to us!
