Guess who wasn’t feeling too posh this week? The ever-stylish Victoria Beckham was snapped sporting every mom’s most dreaded accessory: baby puke. Seems little Harper wasn’t feeling so hot after a flight into New York’s JFK Airport -- and she let her mum (tottering in sky-high heels as usual) know it. Perez Hilton's star-studded "Perizitos" website insists the heaved-upon star didn’t suffer too long. "Luckily, one of the passengers flying with Posh had emergency baby wipes on hand to help her clean up the mess," the story reported.
Are you kidding? I traveled quite a bit with my kids when they were young, and you can bet your Baby Bjorn I always made sure I had enough wipes on hand to clean up the mess of thirty airsick babies. And possibly because I’m not uber-famous, the one time my newborn had a monster blowout on a plane -- the sort that went up her back and down my front and left us both looking and smelling like sewer rats -- the other passengers gave me nothing but dirty looks. (That time we happened to be on a small plane that didn’t have a bathroom, which surely the Beckhams would be too savvy to consider.)
Of course I’m not glad that Posh got spewed on. That would be mean. But I am sort of relieved to know that all of the money and fame in the world can’t buy immunity to all of life's messy moments. (Is that bad?)
