Your Baby's 11th Week of Life

Fact of the Week

The only way to diagnose whether your child has an ear infection is for her to be evaluated by her health care provider, according to ParentsPlace.com pediatrician, Dr. Robert Steele. Obviously, your baby is not able to tell you that her ear hurts. Signs such as fever, fussiness, tugging at ears, cold symptoms, shaking of the head and unwillingness to nurse are not clear-cut predictors of an ear infection.
