Your Baby's 30th Week of Life

Fact of the Week

Calcium isn't just good for your bones -- it may also help to reduce PMS symptoms. A recent study at the Osteoporosis Center at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City found that PMS sufferers who took 1,200 milligrams of calcium carbonate daily for three months reduced their symptoms by approximately 48 percent. Although study participants took supplements, you can get enough calcium through a healthy, balanced diet.
