Recommending your sitter
Should other parents ask to "borrow" a babysitter in the future, make sure that you honestly communicate your issues about her or simply don't refer her. Don't let guilt lead you to give a glowing reference for a sitter that you don't truly feel is good. If your split is amicable, consider writing a letter highlighting her good qualities, but be sure not to exaggerate.
