You know how the dude who hosts The Bachelor says that it's going to be the "most dramatic ending ever," like in every episode? Well, fans finally got what they were promised on last night's finale.
I don't even watch the show, but I have been sucked in a few times this season by ABC's brilliant and sappy promos for Jason Mesnick's search for a wife and mother to his son. Apparently, at the final rose ceremony, Jason proposed to Melissa (who all my Facebook friends seemed to be rooting for) over Molly, who happily accepted the engagement ring.
BUT, drum roll, please, on the follow-up show, The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, which was taped six weeks after the finale, Jason revealed that he had second thoughts!
"Over the last few weeks, I haven't been able to stop thinking about Molly," Jason told host Chris Harrison. "If I could change the way I feel... I would do that, but I can't."
Jason then told Melissa she was out and she stormed off the set. Next, Molly showed up and Jason asked for a second chance -- which she gave him!
Wow! Talk about a topsy-turvy ending. Didn't see any of that coming -- honestly, I thought he was going to end up back with Deanna. Then again, what do I know? I don't even watch the show.
I wanna hear your thoughts on the finale. Shocked? Pissed? Happy? Do tell!
