The latest Bachelor breakup is drumming up some he said/she said controversy. Since announcing their split on Tuesday, both Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi are talking to the press about what led to the end of their engagement -- and they're holding nothing back!
Girardi, 24, reportedly told Star that Pavelka was not the nice guy we all fell in love with on the ABC show. But in the new issue of People the pilot says that things with his fiancee hadn't been going well for months and that there were "a lot of red flags" along the way.
Pavelka reportedly broke up with Girardi by phone on Monday from Atlanta, where he was filming a role on the Lifetime series Drop Dead Diva. Though he does deny reports that Girardi was unfaithful, he says there were major "trust issues" between them.
Still, Pavelka says he has "no regrets" about giving Girardi that final rose, and he says he's learned from the experience.
"I'm still the same guy that believes in love," the 32-year-old said. "In the end, what I've learned is, it doesn't matter if you love somebody – that doesn't fill 95 percent of the relationship."
