Though Bachelor runner-up Lindzi Cox might now be wishing Ben Flajnik and rose-winner Courtney Robertson "nothing but the best," the 27-year-old business development manager did have one last jab to take at the woman who won her man.
"She was nude a lot," Cox tells Good Morning America cohost Lara Spencer of Robertson. "Maybe if I skinny-dipped I wouldn't be here with you."
Despite the fact Cox, who says she is "in a great place," had told Flajnik to call her if things didn't work out with Robertson during the Bachelor finale and subsequently didn't appear on the After the Final Rose TV special, she says that she has nothing but well-wishes for the couple. Of course, she also admits that Flajnik and Robertson were basically broken up while The Bachelor aired, so that might have something to do with her peace of mind.
"Hindsight is really a beautiful thing," she says. "I wasn't happy at the beginning. I've learned a lot from the experience."
It turns out that Cox, who advised that Ben get "some styling" during an appearence on Live! With Kelly, now has a better sense of why Flajnik chose Robertson instead of her after watching their relationship play out.
"At the end of the day, yeah maybe it was tough for a little bit, but he made a decision, it was what's best for him, and I respect that," she says. "When I watch it on TV, I could see why he's with her. They really did have a solid connection."
Could she be ready to get back out there? When visiting Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, Cox, alluded to the fact that she wouldn't mind being selected as as Bachelorette. "How fun would it be to have all these roses?" she said about having her own dating pool of 25 to choose from. "I think I'd like to have all those options." Even though she's campaigning for her spot on the show, she'll have to wait her turn -- Emily Maynard is the reigning Bachelorette and her season is set to premiere in May.
