His over-the-top obsession with Ali Fedotowsky led to several awkward moments. He promised to "guard and protect her heart" about 83 times. He serenaded her with spontaneous, made-up songs, even though he had zero vocal talent. And he got a permanent tattoo on his wrist to prove his love. Ali admitted to iVillage that she felt so bad for him, when he suddenly revealed it to her, that she "just wanted to make him feel better about his decision."
