All marriages go through rough patches -- but when your husband is caught by paparazzi making out with another woman, that's a serious hurdle. Balthazar Getty was still married to his wife of eight years, fashion designer Rosetta Millington, when he was photographed in Italy kissing actress Sienna Miller. (Also, Miller was topless.) Getty and Millington separated in July 2008, weeks after the photo hit the press -- and just nine months after the birth of their fourth child. Surprisingly, the couple has now reunited -- and Getty is giving his wife all the credit.
"It was a very challenging time for everybody involved," Getty, 35, tells Harper's Bazaar, "but I loved and missed my family too much not to make it work. Rosetta is understanding enough and spiritual enough to let us try."
The Brothers and Sisters actor says that the couple is "better than we've ever been." Still, Millington, 40, doesn't want to pretend the infidelity never happened.
"I'm open to talking about it because I believe we go through things in a public way to help other people get through it," she says. "I'm going to have to explain this to my daughters one day. I chose not to act from ego because I just felt like it would be too crushing for my children."
The whole family -- Balthazar and Rosetta, plus children Cassius, 10, Grace, 8, Violet, 7, and June Catherine, 2 -- participated in a photo shoot for the October issue of Harper's Bazaar. In these pictures, they look cozy as can be -- and it's obvious that the kids have free reign of their chic Los Angeles house.
"The pieces are large, nothing delicate," says Millington. "And all of my furniture is dark, so it won't get destroyed." She also lets the kids draw on the walls with chalk. Sounds like a pretty forgiving lady all around!
