Catherine McCord's Weelicious is all about recipes that includes kids in the kitchen and encourage them to get involved in their food choices. Her Banana Dog Bites came about one day when she wanted to make Elvis-style peanut butter and banana paninis. With no bread on hand, whole wheat tortillas were subbed in for these portable, very kid-friendly snacks.
|2 bananas, peeled||2 tortillas (any variety will work)|
|1/4 cup peanut butter, divided (you can also use almond or sunflower butter)|
Place one tortilla on a flat surface and spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter to evenly coat.
Place one banana near the edge of the tortilla and roll it up.
Slice into 1/2-inch rounds and serve.
