Bar Refaeli Recreates Go Daddy Commercial with Jay Leno -- And It's Not Pretty

Just when you thought it couldn't get anymore awkward, the late-night host steps in for his turn to experience the smooch heard around the world

When Jay Leno asked supermodel Bar Refaeli to recreate her now famous Go Daddy Super Bowl commercial where she locks lips with nerdy actor Jesse Heiman, he likely had a very clear idea of how it would go down -- and so did we. We pictured that he and the 27-year-old would pucker up and have the same drawn out and noisy makeout session she had with Heiman, but we got something else entirely.

Refaeli was a guest on the Feb. 6 episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and she and Heiman mocked their Go Daddy smooch during the episode's cold open. As can be seen in the clip above, Refaeli seems surprisingly okay with Leno's request to recreate the controversial commercial, and tells him, "Sure! Pucker up!"

Leno does, but that's when Heiman comes into the scene. He and Leno lean in and kiss one another, and only afterwards does Leno realize what's going on. Not quite what we expected when the sketch started, but definitely as attention-grabbing as the actual Go Daddy ad to watch. Hopefully Heiman didn't have to go through 45 takes of this kiss like he did with Refaeli's!

During her interview with Leno, Refaeli recalled Heiman being "really nervous" when they held their day-long shoot of the Go Daddy commercial. She said she never thought the ad was actually going to happen, and was surprised how much the people filming it liked it.

"I guess they liked it so much, they said, 'We want a tighter shot. And a tighter shot. And a tighter shot,'" Refaeli recalled. "I said, 'Couldn't you just bring different three cameras and go from all angles? Do I really need to do this 60 times?'"

As for the sound of Refaeli and Heiman locking lips, it turns out we aren't the only ones who cringe hearing it. "I haven't seen the commercial on a big screen while the volume is up, but I know that Danica [Patrick] on my right couldn't look at us. After every time, she'd look at us and go, 'Guys, the noise! The sound!'" she recalled.
