Leno Learns: Barack Obama May Be a Stress Eater!

As U.S. presidents go, Barack Obama is a health nut: He plays basketball to unwind, loves arugula and has a pretty toned bod. But apparently he has a secret vice... "a weakness for pie," revealed by a guest on Friday's Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

According to Obama's senior advisor David Axelrod, "One of the things that happened when [Obama] came to the White House is they have a great pastry chef. It became a big problem." (Michelle Obama, on the other hand, still enforces strict nutrition standards for her family -- before dishing on Obama's eating habits, Axelrod joked, "I hope the First Lady isn't watching!") Leno's politico guest said Obama is always ribbing him about his "beer gut," but added that the POTUS loves a truly all-American fast-food staple: cheeseburgers!

Gasp! Is this the same Obama who ate "a mix of nuts, seeds and raisins, washed down with organic berry tea" during his campaign? Obama, 48, famously ate healthy and kept up an intense workout routine -- 45 minutes, six days a week, first thing in the morning -- while he was on the road. But now that he's top dog 24-7, has Obama become a stress eater? We wouldn't really blame him; given a recession, an unpopular war and our own personal pastry chef, we'd be hitting the brownies pretty hard, too!
