Basic Roasted Vegetables

Recipe by Executive Chef Todd English

Serves 4


  • 2 bunches of asparagus or broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh herbs such as rosemary, basil, oregano, and/or sage


Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

Place the vegetables on a large baking sheet and sprinkle with the olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs. Place in oven and roast until the vegetables are well browned and tender, about 45 minutes to an hour.
