Hera, as the goddess of marriage, represents the commitment between husband and wife. Contemporary women who possess Hera's qualities identify themselves as wives with no sense of frustration or resentment. They are equal partners with their husbands. They are confident and have no trouble asserting their authority in and out of the relationship.
If you embody Hera's power, you will wisely choose men who are secure and who don't feel threatened by their girlfriend or spouse. You will be supportive of your partner's endeavors and gain fulfillment from his success. Likewise, he will be fulfilled through you. Hera women and their partners have a union of strength

Practice the following visualization exercise to get in touch with Hera:
Close your eyes and imagine taking a few steps into a magnificent temple. As you enter it, you are enveloped by a warm purple light. In the center you see a beautiful throne. Sit on it and make yourself comfortable. Take a few deep breaths, exhaling any inner tension, and then relax. The solid foundation of the temple, its protective roof, and the immense power of its columns evoke a feeling of strength inside you. Reflect upon your life. See whether there are any areas that you would like to strengthen
- If you already enjoy a loving relationship, you can reinvigorate it and strengthen your partnership by renewing your vows. You can do this in your own home, in a ceremony of your own design. No clergyman is necessary. Create a sacred environment, invite a few friends if you wish, and recommit to each other.
- If you are an unmarried Hera looking for your spouse, be clear about the qualities you want in a partner and in your relationship. Write down all the doubts you have about achieving your ideal, then burn the paper
--you created those doubts, now you can destroy them. Think of this as a cleansing ritual that enables you to move forward and find the man you want.
- Lastly, for all Hera women, single or married, I recommend that you watch the movie Shirley Valentine, the story of a frustrated housewife in Liverpool who goes for a Greek vacation and ... just watch it and see what happens.
