Become a Woman of the Cloth

“Most people overuse products. And the more you use, the more time you have to spend using them,” says Debra Johnson, Training Manager at Merry Maids, a cleaning company with locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Which is why experts seem to all adore microfiber cloths -- they work miracles with nary a spritz of all-purpose. “I love microfiber,” says Johnson. “If you’re diligent about dusting, a good quality, dry microfiber cloth will keep surfaces cleaner longer. With any other cloth, you need products.” Use them to quickly shine mirrors sans streaking, wipe down countertops without fuss and clean nearly any other surface with just a bit of water (tough jobs do require cleanser, however). “They truly do help,” says Johnson.
