Why you should see it: Sandler plays Skeeter, a hotel handyman who regales his niece and nephew with bedtime stories that begin to come to life, a fact that he tries to capitalize on by injecting his fantasies into the tales.
Box office bottom line: A Sandler kiddie flick? Well, his detractors would say his humor is juvenile, so there you go. Actually, the family-friendly adventure should be amusing enough to keep both the young'uns and their 'rents entertained, which is no small feat for a family movie.
