The film: 'Eat Pray Love' (2010)

Why we love it: Julia Roberts’ Liz Gilbert is in Naples with a friend who doesn’t want to eat a drool-worthy pizza because she’s feeling fat. Julia’s character rhetorically asks her if she has ever been with a man, taken off her clothes and had him get up and leave? Of course not, she reasons: The man is psyched just to have a naked woman in his bed! The two women proceed to indulge and agree to buy bigger jeans later that day.

Lesson learned: We can’t deny ourselves life’s ultimate pleasures -- like an authentic Italian pizza Margherita -- just to please members of the opposite sex (who, by the way, would never pass up such a decadent treat.)

We love this moment of throwing carb caution to the wind because we're more familiar with the clothing-size-obsessed antics of the next film...
