For Them: You'll find family-friendly activities galore at the Trapp Family Lodge, an old-fashioned Austrian lodge from the famed Von Trapps (the real-life family portrayed in The Sound of Music) -- everything from maple sugaring to fishing trips to s'mores around the campfire and (of course) screenings of the family's legacy film.

For You: The hotel offers wine tastings, tennis, swimming and more on their jam-packed activity schedule. The hotel has several different styles of "family" rooms, each with at least two separate rooms, so you can still stay up after the kids are down for the night.
