A Cinderella Story

Before the clock strikes party time, make these darling crown-topped cupcakes. Bake or buy simple vanilla cupcakes with pink and purple swirled icing. To make the crowns, use a knife to make zig-zag cuts across long pieces of fondant. Once you have the pattern, cut out small strips and fold them into a circle, then dot with tiny pieces of rolled fondant or bits of buttercream out of a piped bag.
