Bethenny Starts Baking

In 2000, fueled by her passion for food and health, Frankel attended the Natural Gourmet Institute. After graduating in 2001, Frankel (pictured at a New York City Food Emporium on June 22, 2008) formed BethennyBakes, her own line of low-fat, low-calorie, dairy-free, wheat-free, egg-free baked goods. On her now-defunct site, www.BethennyBakes.com, visitors could read her blog, sign up for her one-on-one health advice and purchase her food products. Frankel also cooked for private celebrity clients including Alicia Silverstone, the Hilton family and Mariska Harigtay. BethennyBakes ceased production upon the launch of her Skinnygirl brand in 2009.
