Bethenny Frankel: "I Am Very, Very Tired" of Reality Television

The Bethenny Ever After star dishes to iVillage about the prospect of leaving reality TV behind

From The Real Housewives of New York City to Bethenny Ever After and all the way back to her time as a contestant on Martha Stewart's season of The Apprentice, Bethenny Frankel, 41, has shared most of her adult life on television.

And as her Skinnygirl empire continues to grow and Frankel prepares for her upcoming daytime talk show (premiering this summer on Fox), will reality television still be a part of her life?

Watch our exclusive interview with the mom and mogul as she talks to iVillage's Kelly Wallace about her future -- both on and off camera.

In our sitdown, Frankel says shooting Real Housewives was difficult for her, because she was "engaging in catty conversation and drama that is not authentic" to her. And shooting Bethenny Ever After is also difficult because the cameras are in her space 24-7.

Will this be the last season of Bethenny Ever After? "I have had a lot of reality television," says Frankel. "I was on the Martha Stewart Apprentice, I was on Skating with the Stars, I have been on Real Housewives, I have been on Bethenny Getting Married and Bethenny Ever After." She added, "I am very, very tired. I really don't know how much more of this I would like to do."

When it comes to her brand, Bethenny said she went into reality TV as a form of promotion for her products and ideas. She took a jab at her former castmates, saying people "go on television and say, 'I have to pick something!' but she says she has remained authentic throughout.

And how does she feel about fans calling her husband, Jason Hoppy (who's father to their almost-2-year-old daughter Bryn), the "perfect man?"

"It has made it hard to be married to someone that people think (is) perfect," says Frankel. People are "starting to realize that I'm not perfect, Jason's not perfect, our marriage isn't perfect and that no house is perfect."

So, which reality shows does Bethenny watch? She keeps it in the Bravo family. "I watch The Shahs of Sunset," she admits, and "I watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Frankel says she used to watch The Jersey Shore, but she's "on the way out" because she gets anxiety over how filthy the shore house gets.

We can relate, Bethenny!
