Fresh off another successful year at the Emmy’s, 30 Rock is hoping a guest spot from a Golden actress will bring home another gold statue next year.
Golden Girls' Betty White will appear on the NBC comedy in a guest spot.
Tina Fey let the cat out of the bag on Sunday at the 61st Emmy Awards after the show took home five Emmy’s including best comedy series.
"She's playing herself," Fey told Access Hollywood.
White is no stranger to guest spots on television series. The 87-year-old was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role on My Name is Earl.
Also in the works is a possible appearance by pop star Justin Timberlake, who won Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his hilarious "Mother Lover" skit with Andy Samberg on Saturday Night Live.
"We should track him down. He'd be good." Fey said. "I’m sure he’d totally do it — he’s not busy."
It didn’t take long before Timberlake was made aware of Fey’s desires to have him on the show.
"Okay, you know what’s funny?" Timberlake told Nancy O’Dell. "The writers just walked through when I was heading back from the from taking photos, and one of the writers said, 'Hey Justin, we gotta get you on 30 Rock.'"
Now if only the writers could write a parody song with both White and Timberlake … could you imagine the possibilities with those two?
