Are you more likely to watch the telethon and donate now that Beyoncé will be hitting the stage?
As if George Clooney's Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief couldn't get any more star-studded, Beyoncé has just been added to the big event's lineup! She'll be joining hubby Jay-Z on stage in London for a massive group performance that will also feature Rihanna and U2's Bono and The Edge. We can't wait to see what these powerhouse performers have in store for the big show!
The telethon will feature performances from artists all over the world. Bruce Springsteen, Mary J. Blige, Shakira and Jennifer Hudson will perform in New York, while Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow will put on their show in LA.
Hope For Haiti Now airs Jan. 22 at 8 p.m. CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, The CW, PBS, TNT, Bravo, Comedy Central, E!, CNN, National Geographic Channel, Oxygen and G4TV. If you can’t get to a TV, you can stream the special on YouTube, Hulu, AOL and MySpace.
Performances from the telethon will be available on iTunes beginning Jan. 23, and will be sold for $0.99 each.
