Breastfeeding mothers, you now have a new celebrity member among your ranks. Beyonce has been spotted nursing baby Blue Ivy -- in public!
The new mother, 30, stepped out with husband Jay-Z and their 8-week-old daughter for lunch at the restaurant Sant Ambroeus in Manhattan's West Village last Saturday afternoon. And an observer at the tony eatery tells Us Weekly that Beyonce breastfed Blue Ivy at her table.
Two other insiders confirm to Us Weekly that the Grammy-winning singer has been breastfeeding her little girl since her birth in January.
As Beyonce left the restaurant, photographers captured her holding Blue Ivy in a blue Baby Bjorn draped with a fashionable black Donni Charm scarf. The next day, the hot mama emerged from her Tribeca apartment once again her daughter, but this time in a leopard-print wrap.
The baby is already one of show business' most famous newborns. Beyonce's good friend Gwyneth Paltrow already predicts Blue Ivy will be a big star.
"For sure, she is going to be an entertainer. She just has this glow around her like her mother," Paltrow, 39, said at the post-Oscars Governor's Ball. "Blue Ivy is stunning; she has the most beautiful eyes."
