"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth,” Sasha Fierce told the magazine. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this Earth."
While I can't say I felt like the world's most beautiful woman four months post-baby, I can relate to Bey's sentiment. After my son was born two years ago, my stomach looked like a deflated balloon and my boobs were unrecognizable, but after growing and delivering a baby, I had a new sense of purpose and a confidence that made me feel more beautiful than ever.
But that's just me. We asked iVillagers on Facebook to weigh in. Did you feel more beautiful after giving birth?
"Absolutely MORE!!! What's more beautiful than being a mom?" -- Leisa
"Less. My son was born three months premature and I was beyond stressed and heartbroken. He's a miracle baby and fine now, but I lost myself during that time. I gained weight and my marriage was crumbling. To be honest, I feel better now then I ever did in my 20's (I'm 35 now)!" -- Estara
"With my first I felt beautiful. With the second one not so much....I let myself go." -- Selam
"During pregnancy, I feel more pretty and sexy." -- Iary
"A different kind of beautiful...Much more powerful than the beauty before, but definitely different. Wrinkles and all!" -- Viena
