Don't expect a new collaboration from Beyoncé Knowles and her husband Jay-Z just yet, at least not when it comes to babies. The Grammy-winning singer talked to the UK's You magazine about if, and when, she and her famous husband would start a family.
"My ambition is to continue to learn about the world and to eventually have a family," Knowles, 28, told the magazine, but added that there are "no dates, no times -- it will happen when I am ready."
It's a completely understandable statement, considering the multi-talented star's already crazed schedule. "Probably the biggest challenge in my life is time -- making sure I have time to be a wife, to be a singer, to be a songwriter, to be an actor and still have time for my clothing line and now for my perfume (Heat)," the singer explained.
Knowles, who previously told Allure magazine, "I definitely want to have a child," also acknowledged the challenge that, "I love so many different things, and to have the discipline to turn certain things away and focus on one thing at a time so that I can give it 100 percent is really hard."
For now, Knowles is happy to be simply aunt to 5-year old Daniel Julez Smith, Jr., the son of her sister (and fellow singer) Solange Knowles. In the same interview with Allure, Beyoncé noted that parenthood will be challenging because, "I know from my nephew it's a lot."
