Beyonce Posts a Hand-Written Letter to Barack Obama

"You are the reason my daughter and nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be," wrote Bey

Beyonce has supported President Barack Obama from the beginning, and she's hoping to give him a little extra boost on Election Day. On Monday night, the pop star posted a heartfelt, hand-written letter to Obama on her official website.

"President Obama, every day we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves," writes Beyonce. "You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be."

The mother of ten-month-old Blue Ivy praises Obama for being an excellent role model. "You are the reason my daughter and nephew [Julez, 8, the son of Beyonce's sister Solange] will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be," she writes. The letter closes with the words, "All my respect and adoration, Beyonce."

Earlier this year, the singer posted another letter on her site, praising Michelle Obama for being the ultimate multitasker: mother, wife and First Lady. "Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that you do for us," Beyonce wrote in July. "I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to."

On Monday, Beyonce's husband Jay-Z put in his own last-minute endorsement for Obama, flying down to Ohio to perform alongside Bruce Springsteen at a campaign rally. He even put a special twist on his hit song "99 Problems," rapping, ""If you're havin' world problems, I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems, but Mitt ain't one!"

Blue Ivy's parents aren't the only celebs doing last-minute work to encourage voter turnout. In a new video produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire's nonpartisan campaign Vote4Stuff, the founders join Ellen DeGeneres, Selena Gomez, Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried, Jonah Hill, Sarah Silverman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Benicio Del Toro to remind Americans that voting is a way to make their voices heard. (DeGeneres, for example, wants to "end these terrible cupcake wars that I keep hearing about.") Watch below!
