Looks like Beyoncé's mom no longer wants "a ring on it."
According to TMZ.com, Tina Knowles and Matthew Knowles have been living apart since early January -- which was when they should've been celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary.
Tina Knowles finally got around to filing official divorce papers in a Harris County, Tex., court last month, one month after the Knowles family patriarch was hit with a paternity suit from a mistress. The woman, Alexsandra Wright, was said to be in her late 30's and six months pregnant. TMZ described her as a "name-branding expert."
Though one can safely assume that a paternity suit doesn't help an already-ailing marriage, E! Online tracked down the divorce papers and notes that Beyonce's mom doesn't list any official reason for dissolving the marriage.
It's likely the couple have made substantial money from their daughter's successful years in the music business. Matthew Knowles is Beyoncé's manager, and Tina designed many of the glittery getups worn by Beyoncé's former group, Destiny's Child.
