Jillian Michaels has made a name for herself by getting out-of-shape contestants on the hit reality competition The Biggest Loser to become healthier and improve their bodies.
Now, in a startling interview with Women's Health, the trainer admits she'd never willingly transform her svelte figure for a pregnancy.
When asked about possibly pursuing motherhood someday, Michaels, 36, told the magazine, "I'm going to adopt. I can't handle doing that to my body."
Granted, preserving her physique isn't the only reason Michaels wants to adopt: "When you rescue something, it's like rescuing a part of yourself," she said.
Michaels has admitted that she dealt with battling body issues at a young age. By 12 years old, Michaels reportedly weighed upwards of 175 pounds. "I was an only child at the time, so there was nowhere to go with any of it," she said. "I felt abandoned."
In addition to Loser, Michaels will soon begin hosting her own daytime talk show on NBC, Losing It with Jillian, which she says is "about rebooting your life."
